Welcome to Penny Lane Farm Sanctuary

"Free to Just Be"

We are a registered Not-For-Profit organization, located near Saint-Pascal-Baylon, Ontario, east of Ottawa.  We provide a safe haven for life for animals who are at risk or who have only known abuse and neglect before being brought to us. The Sanctuary is a Vegan-run facility.

We encourage individuals from all walks of life who are interested in helping us care for our residents to come out and volunteer.. Consider establishing a personal connection with one of our residents by becoming a sponsor.

Please note that because of our daily workload, and the need for the animals to have undisturbed quiet time, we cannot accommodate private visits. Everyone is welcome to come to our Open House and Visitor Day events to meet and spend time at the Sanctuary. Thank you for your understanding.

Feel free to take photographs for your personal use.

By taking photographs at the Sanctuary, all professional photographers must be willing to transfer all copyrights on the images to Penny Lane Farm Sanctuary if asked to do so.

What’s that I hear?

Important note: The deep snow in the paddocks means that the horses are staying in more confined areas, and avoiding the deeper snow. If you are in with the horses, you need to use greater caution and be aware of their movements. When the horses move around, they are using only the narrow pathways that they have trampled down. If you aren’t careful, you could find yourself standing in their way (they will not veer off into the deeper snow)! Please enter the horse paddocks only if you have enough experience around horses to know how to keep yourself safe under these conditions.

You are responsible for your own safety at all times

You can now donate through Paypal using your credit card.  Thank you for your support!  Donations of any amount help us continue to provide a safe haven here at the Sanctuary. Every cent of every donation goes 100% towards care of the animals, without exception.

By the way, if you live in the Clarence-Rockland area, you may be interested to know that the Sanctuary has its own Weather Station that updates local weather conditions online continuously (useful too if you are coming out to the Sanctuary).
